Mountain View Mental Health, LLC is a collective of mental health practitioners in seperate private practices in Boulder, Colorado. Mountain View Mental Health LLC is NOT a group practice and all providers are independent practices and businesses.
We have intentionally located our practices together in a common suite so we can offer a full complement of mental health services to our clients. Our experienced team provides psychological testing, medication management, and many types of psychotherapy. We all place a strong value on collaboration, training, and the use of evidence-based treatment modalities.
Mountain View Mental Health is conveniently located steps from the University of Colorado Boulder's main campus. We are right along US 36, close to central Boulder and easily accessible to the Denver metro area.

Michiko Mitsunaga-Whitten, LCSW
she/her/hersI am a licensed clinical social worker in CO (license number 09926317) and integrate contemporary psychoanalytic approaches with DBT and Internal Family Systems in my work with relational issues, identity development, issues related to race and oppression, trauma and resilience, depression and anxiety, life transitions, death and dying, family issues, existential concerns, psychedelic integration, sex and relationships, and grief and loss.

I have fourteen years of experience with psychotherapy and brief therapeutic interventions, in public high schools and at the University of Colorado counseling center. I am trained in CBT, ACT, DBT, EMDR, motivational interviewing, solution focused therapy, and an array of psychodynamic and relational models of treatment.
